90 Day Notice Account
A single withdrawal of up to £1,000 can be made on 7 days notice without loss of interest. Interest is paid annually on 15 October when a tax deduction certificate is issued. Interest applied to the account can be withdrawn at any time during the subsequent year without loss of interest, subject to the giving of seven days notice.
Harvest Gold Account
The Harvest Gold account is a six-month notice account. Interest applied to the account can be withdrawn at any time during the subsequent year subject to the giving of seven days notice. Interest is paid annually on 30 June when a tax deduction certificate is issued.
Somerset Saver Account
The Somerset Saver account is a twelve months notice account. Interest applied to the account can be withdrawn at any time during the subsequent year subject to the giving of seven days notice. Interest is paid annually on 15th April when a tax deduction certificate is issued. The Somerset Saver Account may be used by investors as a “feeder” account for their ISAs.
Millennium Bond
This is a fixed-term investment that runs for 500 days from the date of investment. The minimum investment is £3,000 and the maximum investment is £100,000. Only one deposit may be made for each bond although an investor may have more than one bond up to a total of £100,000. Interest is paid after 250 days, when it may be added to the account, and at maturity. Maturing Millennium Bond accounts may be reinvested with interest. At Church House Trust’s discretion early redemption may be permitted with a penalty of 100 days’ loss of interest.
ISA accounts
Church House Trust also offers Cash ISA accounts, which are described separately.
Interest Rates
The interest rates paid on Church House Trust’s deposit accounts are set out in the Interest Rates leaflet. All these rates are variable.
Interest can be added to the account, paid direct to an appointed bank or building society, paid direct by cheque to the beneficiary or an appointed third party, or credited to another Church House Trust account.
Statements
Statements are issued annually to investors for each account shortly after the annual interest payment date.
